GOOD FOOD – Sprinkles Soda Bread

Serving Size: 1

Featured Ingredient:GOOD SEED Salad Sprinkles, GOOD OIL

Ingredients:
  • 50 g GOOD SEED Salad Sprinkles
  • 250 g Plain Flour
  • 225 ml Live Yoghurt
  • 1 tsp. Salt
  • 2 tsp. sugar
  • 1 level tsp Bicarbonate of Soda
Directions:

Preheat oven to 230C/ Gas Mark 8. Sift the flour, bicarbonate of soda and salt into a large bowl trying your best not to recreate 'The Snowman'. Add in the sugar and yoghurt and combine with a metal spoon. At this point try to ignore the fact it looks a little ropey. It all comes together soon. Get your hands in and bring together to form a ball of dough, kneading in the bowl for a minute or so. When it has come together add the GOOD SEED Salad Sprinkles to the bowl and knead into the dough. Use the GOOD OIL to lightly grease a baking tray. Put the ball of dough onto the tray, cut a large cross in the top to allow it to expand then put the bread in the oven. After 12 minutes reduce the heat to 200C/Gas Mark 6 and cook for another 20 mins. Allow to cool on a wire rack then serve.
