


Chicken Chorizo & Hemp Seed Pie
Ingredients
- 500g chicken breast, chopped into chunks
- 100g chorizo sausage, peeled and chopped into chunks
- 50g GOOD Shelled Hemp Seed
- 1 large red onion, finely chopped
- 1 tablespoons GOOD OIL Hemp Oil
- 300ml creme fraiche
- 1 splash white wine
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 puff pastry sheet
Preparation
Pre heat the oven at 220C.
First add the GOOD OIL to a deep frying pan and fry the onion and the chorizon for
5 mins over a medium heat, until the oil comes out of the chorizo.
Then add the chicken and keep stirring until the chicken is coloured.
Turn up the heat and add the white wine. Let it bubble away until it has reduced by half.
Now add the GOOD Seed and creme fraiche. Stir and combine and keep stirring
untilk warmed through.
Pour the mixture into a large baking dish and lay over the pastry.
Cut the excess off of the sides then brush the egg over the pastry.
Place in over for 25-30 mins or until the pastry is risen and brown.
